Anyone else think that 60 seconds is way too short? Surely I can't be the only one with this concern.
I find it particularly annoying that drops expire so quickly, especially in the context of party play where there's a delay before you can pick up someone else's item, which makes the total window of time to pick up that item pretty short.
If it were up to me, I'd consider doubling the duration before items expire.

I'm a warrior, so I'm biased, but it doesn't really bother me. Most of what I loot is picked up immediately by my pet because I'm walking over to the next monster.
I definitely agree though that the delay in looting others' items in a party is unnecessary and frustrating. I would not mind doubling the expiry timer as you suggest, but I would also be okay with leaving the duration as-is, but removing the delay for party members to loot.

As someone who kills things from far away it's definitely a bigger problem for me. Probably an even bigger problem for people with full map AoEs.

It would be nice to see this change. The expiration timer in vanilla is 3 minutes I believe. I generally just have to miss out on half my loot, especially with genesis, because I can't get to it in time without fractioning my exp gain (eg. Having to go to platforms to loot that I otherwise would never have to go to since genesis reaches that platform. Doing this every minute or less starts to cut into efficiency, so I just opt to not loot them at all at the cost of income.) If it was 1 minute in vanilla too, I think we'd have less grounds to make this request, but since it's a lsms exclusive and doesn't seem to benefit anyone, it could be a good fix. As of build v1.01.04 we have increased the drop despawn timer from 60 seconds to 90 seconds. Hopefully that helps out with getting your items from the ground.
