Disclaimer: This suggestion is being made without any prior knowledge to what is going to be available at time of server launch, and is only to be intended as a general form of criticism based on previous experiences in MapleStory as a whole.
Anyone who has ever played MapleStory for an extended amount of time and declared that their USE and ETC inventory size is perfect and doesn't need improving is either:
A) Never intending, nor has ever picked up any ore, or
B) Lying.
What I suggest is a small hassle in code changing, but something that I can guarantee would be a nice quality of life improvement for all players: increase the stacks of non-star/bullet USE items (i.e. potions, scrolls, and other bulk) and a large majority of the ETC items (ore, crystals, and any non-limited mob drops) to a maximum capacity of 1,000 per stack.
This not only avoids a lot of frustration and clutter, but also allows players to carry a more widened variety, without having to depend on the ultimately limited amount of item slots. This also allows grind/party sessions to go on uninterrupted for a larger amount of time, and avoids concerns like "losing a map", or "losing mesos" from having to travel to and from their destination.
